We are currently recruiting for a fast-growing retail company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst, who will be responsible for financial analytics, automation and system related matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Financial Controller, based in Johor.Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for processing large amounts of data from multiple sources, identify strategic opportunities and track campaign performances.
  • Provide comprehensive financial information and analytics to help management team make an informed business decision.
  • Active involvement in financial modelling and relevant market research activities.
  • Manage PowerBI tools and spearhead any finance automation projects.
  • Actively propose improvements or enhancement for the system through collaboration with Finance and IT team.
  • Participate in strategic meetings with the group and the management team.
  • Perform in ad-hoc duties and projects as and when required.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Possess Bachelors\' Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant financial analytics scope.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, analytical skills and passionate in system related scopes.
  • Practical knowledge on PowerBI and POS system would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
