ourteam is partnering with a fast-growing fintech startup on a mission to improve financial literacy and empower individuals with personalized insights. Their platform combines intuitive design, smart analytics, and innovative features to help people make smarter financial decisions. In just the past year, they've grown to thousands of active users and are quickly expanding across Southeast Asia.

As a Business Analyst, you'll be the bridge between business stakeholders and tech teams, translating requirements, analyzing processes, and helping deliver solutions that actually move the needle. It's a hands-on role with exposure to product, tech, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Product Analysis

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. Translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical specifications. Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for new fintech initiatives.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with product, tech, operations, and partnership teams. Assist in defining project scope, success metrics, and timelines. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure requirements are met before release.

Market & Regulatory Awareness

Keep updated with fintech trends, competitor offerings Provide recommendations for product improvement and market positioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field. 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services. Strong knowledge of fintech ecosystems: digital payments, lending, insurance, or wealth management. Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau/Power BI). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with API documentation and integrations. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visily, Figma or similar tools.

Pay: RM5,800.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
