About the opportunity

The Business Analyst - HCM (Human Capital Management) Optimization & Innovation is responsible for driving the optimization and innovation initiatives for the HCM function within the organization. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and other business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and automation to streamline HCM processes and enhance overall HR service delivery. The Business Analyst will analyze business requirements, conduct data analysis, identify trends and insights, and provide strategic recommendations to improve HCM performance, employee experience, and drive business results.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and other business stakeholders to identify areas of improvement in HCM processes and systems, and develop strategies to optimize and innovate HR operations.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights in HCM data, and use data-driven decision making to recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Perform detailed requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis of HCM processes and systems, and provide recommendations for process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and focus groups to gather requirements, understand business needs, and identify pain points in HCM processes.
  • Collaborate with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) team and other IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications for system enhancements and automation solutions.
  • Provide end-to-end support for testing, implementation, and user training of HCM process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.

Skills and experience we value

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on HCM optimization and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of HCM processes and systems, including HRIS, talent management, payroll, benefits administration, and other HR functions.
  • Proven experience in conducting data analysis and providing data-driven recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Project management skills, including experience in developing and managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in HCM optimization and innovation, including experience with HR automation tools, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
What would make you really stand out

  • Working knowledge of at least HCM technologies, such as Oracle HCM Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Dayforce or similar, are highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications related to HCM, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP, are a plus.
