You will act as the critical bridge between customers, project teams, and technical stakeholders translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for smart manufacturing solutions. You'll own documentation, facilitate workshops, validate deliverables, and ensure every feature or process change drives real operational value on the shop floor. Your success is measured by clarity, accuracy, adoption, and customer alignment not just by completing documents.
1. Requirements Elicitation & Analysis
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and site visits (factory floor) to capture business needs.
Translate operational pain points into functional and non-functional requirements.
Map "AS-IS" and "TO-BE" processes for manufacturing workflows (OEE, downtime, quality, traceability).
2. Documentation Ownership
Own and maintain key project artifacts: BRD, FRS, user stories, use cases, process flows, UAT test cases.
Ensure templates are followed, version-controlled, and signed off before development or deployment.
Proactively adapt or improve templates, don't reject without proposing alternatives.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Dev Teams to ensure requirements are understood and feasible.
Present requirements to customers and internal teams; clearly, confidently, and constructively.
Never outsource core documentation without ownership -- if you delegate, you still own quality and review.
4. Quality & Validation
Lead UAT planning and execution with end-users (plant operators, engineers).
Validate that delivered solutions meet requirements and drive measurable KPIs
Flag gaps early; don't wait for "customer to complain."
5. Communication & Professionalism
Communicate respectfully and constructively even under pressure.
Escalate blockers or misalignments to Project Manager or Head of Service Delivery ; never walk away or point fingers.
Manage time effectively prioritize documentation as a core deliverable, not an afterthought.
6. Continuous Improvement
Document lessons learned and contribute to refining requirement templates, workshop formats, and validation checklists.
