The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging business needs with technical solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting end-to-end project execution. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and gap analysis to validate business needs.
2. Process Improvement
Identify areas for process enhancement and efficiency optimization.
Recommend solutions and assist in implementing process improvements aligned with business goals.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and actionable insights.
Provide recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision-making.
4. Project Coordination & Support
Assist in project planning, execution, tracking, and status reporting.
Ensure deliverables meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
Support UAT planning, test case creation, and defect coordination.
5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Liaise with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure requirements are understood and effectively implemented.
Facilitate communication and resolve issues across cross-functional teams.
6. Documentation
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, Process Flows, User Guides, and SOPs.
Ensure documentation is clear, updated, and audit compliant.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in creating process flows, diagrams, and documentation.
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI or similar).
Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
