I'm currently assisting my client - a leading foreign developer - in hiring a Business Development Assistant Manager (Residential) to join their growing team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both strategic business development and hands-on project involvement - working closely with top local developers on high-value residential and mixed-use projects.
What You'll Be Doing

• Identify and build strong relationships with potential JV partners for residential and mixed-use developments.
• Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and financial analysis to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Assist in negotiations, deal structuring, due diligence, and preparation of investment proposals.
• Support JV partners throughout project execution - covering planning, cost control, marketing, and construction.
• Monitor project performance, financials, and returns to ensure success.

Who We're Looking For

• Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in property development, investment, or real estate financing.
• Strong analytical skills with sound knowledge of the Malaysian property market.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
