General Functions:

  • This incumbent will be required to find right contact in MNC, send targetted email campaign and dedicated email to potential prospect, (minimum numbers of email per day are to be expected)
  • Leads created will follow-up into client call, presentation and meeting to create sell opportunities
  • Undertake sales activities, create new leads and oversee the sales target by growing the customer base and retention, in the defined Industries in the MNC area by promoting and selling the key VWT Solutions, Services and Technologies.
  • Final function of this position is to close contract, generate proposal to customer, negotiate and close businesss contract.
Technical:
  • Efficient and effective email campaigning
  • Lead creation - by identifying targeted clients using all available support platform, developing effective working relationships with clients and opening new accounts with potential partners, prospects and stakeholders (EPC) to ensure the business runs smoothly as per given guidelines.
  • Capacity to find the right interlocutor within MNC
  • Able to detect the right person in a manufacturing site & able to contact them via email or/and cold calls
  • Perseverance and constant proactive business development research.
  • Conduct market research and market trend analysis- Actively engages in technical practice of relevance to areas of interest or focus, sharing information and best practices learned with the company
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through various means, including networking and social media for the team
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with clients, escalation window for clients for any unresolved issues
  • Able to create short term approach to a prospect clients & introduce the Veolia Water Technologies Group Scope with confidence by building a very constant follow
  • up and a rigorous methodology
  • Able to make a presentation and represent the company in front of the clients.
  • Able to report to management weekly work by providing the figures and numbers of lead, email sent, cold call, meetings booked
  • Assist and coordinate preparation of proposal, and liaison work to capture and fulfil different client requirements and acts in a variety of proposal leadership roles to ensure that VWT best practices and quality standards are used during preparation and submission of proposals
Management:
  • Ensure reporting timeline - management weekly work by providing the figures of lead, numbers of meetings books, series of proposals and numbers of wins created
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest business development trends and best practice-
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Emphasize teamwork and collaboration between all the department members (Engineering, Operations, EP, Marketing etc)
  • Taking initiative and be constantly proactive
  • Never give-up attititute: Failing is the way to learn
Safety:
  • Apply the Safety procedures for operations bound to their activities
Quality:
  • Apply the Quality procedures for operations bound to their activities
Qualifications

Educations:
  • Bachelor in Business/Sales &Marketing, International Business
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Mandarin will be an added advantage to communicate/contact China clients
Others/Licenses:
  • Valid driving license
Experienced Expected:
  • Fresh graduates (Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development) who meets the below expected competencies are encouraged to apply
  • 1 to 3 years of experiences in pure Sales role - Lead Creation
  • Ability to approach the clients and outgoing nature
  • Working experiences from MNC industries is an advantage
  • Knowledge of productivity and software will be an added value
  • Ability to be efficient and creative to seek out new sales opportunities through various means, including networking and social media for the team
  • Able to work under pressure
