Develop a target list and contact potential clients through different channels.
Confirm appointments to introduce the company and its services to potential clients.
Build and maintain ongoing relationships with potential and existing clients.
Act as an intermediary for communication between clients, their operations teams, and the Crane Worldwide network.
Provide tracking information upon request and escalate all shipment issues to the client for prompt resolution.
Manage all client requests and follow up to meet client needs.
Facilitate the completion of RFQs and provide marketing and proposal support for all Global Sales Team members.
Analyse client profit or loss and provide proposals for yield improvement.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Preferably with at least one year of experience with 3PL or freight forwarder, including both internal and external facing roles. Experience in transportation or business development fields will be considered.
Strong skills in dealing with clients and selling to decision-makers with a consultative approach.
Proficiency in computer usage, including a demonstrated capability with a suite of Microsoft Office products and broad-based internet networking tools such as LinkedIn.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle challenges resourcefully.
Effective negotiation and closing techniques.
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
