A Business Development Manager (Land) job has become available at a property corporation. About the Business Development Manager (Land) Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the land acquisition and strategic planning activities within the real estate sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Source for suitable development land via direct acquisition/ joint venture in accordance with the company\'s business plan
• Acquire development land in matured market with quick turnaround and potential to generate the minimum gross development value
• Execute the plan towards achieving the business targets set to be delivered as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term company strategy
• Participate in client interactions for knowledge transfer, industry updates and build business networks
• Conduct preliminary checks with authorities on land status i.e. zoning, planning, approvals, etc.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence works such as extensive market research, company background checks, authority checks, site analysis, etc.
• Prepare and present new land proposals for approval to the management which includes but are not limited to site analysis, market analysis, proposed components and pricing, feasibility studies, sensitivity analysis, etc

To succeed in this Business Development Manager (Land) role, you must have experience in land acquisition and ability to present feasibility data to the upper management. Key Requirements:

• Degree in real estate management/building/quantity surveying/marketing
• Minimum of eight years of work experience in the property development industry with at least five years in a similar capacity
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with landowners, real estate agents and government authorities
