Job Summary Manager, Business Development - Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong is a National-level (multi-countries) Sales Manager responsible for developing sales strategies and managing Distributor Team to achieve set sales goals, targets, and revenue in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing & Implement BIC Route to Market in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong for each category needs. Build strategic alliances and partnerships with various Wholesalers, Distributors, or Sub-distributors to cover all channels (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Office Supply, Book Stores, E-commerce \xe2\x80\xa6etc.)
  • Develop and manage efficient distribution networks for sales
  • Develop efficient and creative sales and marketing strategies for the assigned territory and target setting for the distributor sales team
  • Collecting customer and market feedback and reporting the same to the organization
  • Monitoring sales team performance, analyzing sales data, periodical forecasting, and reporting to zonal heads
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Managing, training, and motivating the Distributor Sales team to drive revenue growth
  • Setting Sell-out targets for Distributors by category and sales channel
  • Recruiting and training Distributor Sales staff (if Distributor permits)
  • Allocating areas to sales representatives (if Distributor permits)
  • Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts
  • Establishing, maintaining, and expanding your customer base

Qualifications:
  • 5 years plus proven work experience as a National or Area sales manager in Malaysia.
  • FMCG industry, Stationery, Cosmetics, Battery, Confectionary, and beverage category background is preferred
  • Ethical & responsible behavior
