Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Minimum 5 years similar experience in the Ocean / Air freight industries
Good networking and social network with all the ocean & air freight players in market.
Familiar and able to file ad- hoc rates
Good knowledge and familiar with local and international governmental, customs, ocean & air and hazardous cargo regulations.
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives minimum supervision
Responsibilities
Strategic planning is a key part of the responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company.
The primary role is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from existing / potential clients.
Formulated the strategic plan and persuasive approaches to convince potential clients to do business with the company.
Establish and develop a rapport with new clients and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
Ability to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
Constantly and continue working with client such mid and senior level management, marketing, and operation staff on monthly review and meeting.
This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company\'s competitors.
Managing the activities of others office for developing business for the company.
The job holder does not limit to new business retention, business development planning, management and research.
