Job Summary
We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic Sales and Business Development Manager to drive our B2B growth and revenue. This dual-focused role requires a professional who can not only build and manage a robust sales pipeline but also identify new market opportunities and forge strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and fostering long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Team Leadership & Development:
Form, lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales & Business Development Representatives and/or Executives, providing coaching and support to ensure team success and professional growth.
Pipeline Management:
Independently manage and grow the sales pipeline, from lead generation and qualification to proposal creation and deal closure.
Relationship Building:
Actively identify, prospect, and secure new B2B clients and strategic partners.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target industries, and emerging trends.
Client Management:
Nurture strong relationships with new clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for account expansion.
Product Expertise:
Become an expert on our product and its value proposition to effectively articulate its benefits to potential clients.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and provide regular reports to leadership on sales performance and market feedback.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 10 years of experience in a B2B sales or business development role with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
Experience in leading and coaching a sales or business development team.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Preferred:
Experience in the health, wellness, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industry.
A proven ability to open doors with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
