for 5 Miles Lab, responsible for generating new business opportunities and closing deals across our full spectrum of marketing services. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, persuasive communication, and a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, target, and acquire new clients (SME to Enterprise level).
Utilize various methods (cold calling, networking, social selling, email campaigns, etc.) to generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Sales & Closing:
Conduct initial discovery calls and qualify prospects' needs against 5 Miles Lab's service offerings.
Collaborate with the internal creative/service teams to
develop compelling, tailored proposals and presentations.
Lead sales pitches, negotiate terms, and successfully
close new business contracts
to meet ambitious sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Hand-off new clients smoothly to the project/account management team.
Maintain relationships with clients post-sale to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Market Intelligence:
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the digital marketing and web services space.
Provide feedback to the leadership team on pricing, service packaging, and market demand.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline information in a CRM system.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
at least 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within a marketing agency, web development firm, or related service industry.
Track Record:
Documented history of consistently
meeting or exceeding sales quotas
.
Knowledge:
Strong foundational knowledge of digital marketing concepts (SEO, Paid Media, Content Strategy, Web Development lifecycle, AI).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Has Solid Network of Contacts.
Has own laptop.
