This is a Business Finance role which stands to support the Retail Business Banking with timely and accurate reporting with highlights of financial performance, KPIs, customer acquisition/attrition, and sales activity. Also, the role holder is expected to set up the Reporting requirements and partner with product/business team to support strategic initiatives and to provide analytical support for decision-making process. Main activities: Analyze business performance and provide variance commentaries for local and global reports. Build financial reporting capabilities to support business strategies, decision making process and performance management which can support Retail business growth and financial targets. Lead the annual budgeting cycle focusing on business execution, profitability, and substance. This include identifying and translating market insights, competition analysis and key business activities to support deliverables. Ensure accounting matters for business are in accordance with the acceptable accounting practices and group accounting policies Analyse profitability of the business based on various product dynamics/drivers to provide value-added advice and insight to business for decision making. Cost Management - coordinate PARs/Concept Paper approval process, perform cost analysis Prepare financial modelling and projections for business plan and to support business to perform competitors benchmarking analysis Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank\'s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements Role Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors\' Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent Minimum 8 years working experience, with minimum 5 years in a Finance role. Banking experience is an added advantage Advanced in excel with strong analytical skills with the discipline to meet deadlines and provide solutions Knowledge and experience in Retail Banking (both Business and Finance) Strong financial modelling, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting deliverables Understanding of accounting reporting rules Knowledge of Business products.
