Our team in Shah Alam currently has an opening for a Business Manager, Nutrition

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans and manages overall functions of business operation, i.e. budgeting, staffing, cost & expenses control, profitability, stocks, debtors, supply chain, sales tools, country campaign, etc. in order to achieve the organization's objectives.
• Acquires new business partners, set up and execute business strategies to develop and promote new markets by expanding product portfolio and enhancing supplier relationship as well as captures competitive intelligence information by developing & maintaining competitor database.
• Align business direction with regional direction; implement local industry strategy, manage its profitability; prepare and submit business report to key stakeholder i.e. suppliers, Regional Industry Manager; provide & support competitive/market intelligence information; expand the regional business network.
• Recruits, motivates, manages and coaches including develop all staff in the Business to perform their duty with full effectiveness and efficiency as well as work well in harmony to enhance and cultivate teamwork.
• Ensures that all business activities are proceeded according to the Working Instructions as specified in the Integrated Management System.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry / Science / Food Science / Food Technology or any related field. Master's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial experiences in the distribution of chemicals / ingredients to food, beverage, nutrition industries.
• People management skill.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to all level, including Senior Management.
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
• Business / Commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical skill.
• Strategic thinking & strategy development skill.
• Customer oriented.
• Good interpersonal skill.
• Result driven and self-initiative.
• Business and market know-how.
• Good in related products / business industry.
