Our Quick Commerce Finance team is seeking a highly talented Business Process Excellence & Transformation (BPE&T) Specialist, APAC to join our team in Malaysia to support the delivery of strategic initiatives and project management office for our Quick Commerce business.

The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor, a strong team player and a process mindset, comfortable supporting a team and working closely with all levels of people at foodpanda.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the BPE&T Manager, APAC, the successful candidate will be part of transforming our finance department by being a strategic partner to both business and product teams
• Understand initiatives related to an inhouse operating system and identifying impact on Finance processes, systems and data
• Drive the identification, consolidation and prioritization of Finance related business problems within the region
• Work closely with Product teams in the design, training and testing of new feature launches in the region to drive process improvements and rollout tactical initiatives
• Responsible for monitoring status of Central driven initiatives and keeping local stakeholders up to date

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business management, Computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a large organization, Big4, Technology / Management Consulting or a leading function in a startup company.
• Working experience in project management and stakeholder management.
• Previous experience in finance related system implementation, especially in an agile environment or business analytics is a plus.
• Familiar with hypothesis driven approach and drive workshops to gather requirements/identify business problems.

• Excellent communication and interpretation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Strong commercial awareness, strong critical thinking skills and high attention to details.
• Energetic and highly motivated, with a business driven and growth mindset.
• Exceptional Microsoft Office and Google suite skills (particularly PowerPoint and Excel).
• Basic knowledge on BPM Tools is a plus.
• Basic programming skills, SQL, and Tableau a plus.
