Job Summary
The preferred location is Malaysia but there is flexibility with regards to the location, provided the candidate is based in the Asia Pacific region.
Introduction to OPERA project
The Opera project, which is part of the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Make It #1 digital transformation program, is one of the main Global IMERYS projects that aims to accelerate the digital transformation to enhance performance. It aims to design and build a state-of-the-art core model solution based on SAP S4 HANA.
It will enable all Imerys users to share a common language, new ways of working, and a state of the art solution to manage more efficiently their business operations related to Industry, Finance, Sales, Logistics and Purchasing activities.
OPERA is the deployment of SAP on all Imerys entities.
OPERA project team is composed of 4 business streams: Finance (B2R); Purchasing & Procurement (P2P); Sales & Logistics (O2C); Manufacturing Quality Maintenance (MQM).
A Core Model (SAP main functionalities) has been designed and is to be deployed on the different sites. If necessary, this Core Model is enriched/adapted to the sites\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
SUMMARY OF THE JOB
Business Process Expert - B2R ASIA is part of the B2R Team (approx 12 people) and his/her role is to support the roll out of our SAP core model in Asia & improve the SAP Core Model. Roll out is organized by Wave, one wave regroups several legal entities. The next wave in Asia will regroup entities in Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam.
The BPE works closely with a B2R Super Key user dedicated to the Wave.
Organize the assessment phase for each legal entity included in the Wave:
Help the entities to understand the Core Model.
Ensure a good understanding of local requirements including tax and accounting business rules
Ensure the alignment between business requirements and the solution through GAP analysis.
Drives the Alignment phase
List of change requests and finds together with BPO & IT experts the best solution to be proposed
Follows up the change requests developments & tests & presents to key users
Master data & Data migration
Drives the B2R master data definition for the entity according to Core model: Profit center, Cost centers, Chart of account, VAT rates & texts.
Helps to maps legacy to SAP for B2R master data
Participate to data preparation in collaboration with Wave team & Key users: Fixed assets, general ledger, Inventory, AR, AP, Banks
Drives costing setup in SAP and support key users in the implementation, including:
split costs centers between production Direct & non production (in coordination with MQM)
Define Allocation cycles (sender / receiver costs center), distribution key
calculate activity prices
Testings and trainings
Drives Super Key User onboarding
Define test scenarios and perform Solution tests with Key users
Participate in the Key user and End users training.
Cutover & Go Live support
Support the entities in the Cut Over activities as well as during GoLive.
Provide support after GoLive.
*Cut Over activities: are series of steps need to be planned, executed and monitored in order to make the project golive (generally started 8 weeks before the GoLive)
