As a Business Unit Director (Vaccines), you will lead, inspire, coach, and develop a high performing sales and marketing team. You will also be responsible to establish challenging strategic and operating priorities and plans for key products/assets to optimize revenue.

This role will provide/gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Create and execute long-term strategy for Malaysia to achieve expected growth.
  • Develop and achieve forecast goals and profit targets & effectively manage business unit\xe2\x80\x99s Profit and Loss
  • Build best in class commercial teams with high scientific knowledge & strong omnichannel capabilities.
  • Effectively manage change and lead through transitions
  • Lead the successful commercialization of new vaccine launches. This includes formulating pricing strategies, establishing optimal marketing positioning, and driving promotional activities. Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure the realization of revenue targets and market share expansion.
  • Create a strong leadership infrastructure and ensure the implementation of effective people management practices.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain high-caliber candidates.
  • Provide effective management and leadership of direct reports including coaching, development and career planning discussions.
  • Ensure appropriate allocation & utilization of budget/resources to ensure budget efficiency, in line with company policy.
  • Meet the high need for cross-functional influence and collaboration internally across divisions to deliver results.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence and Medical to define effective channel mix for products.
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to business ethics. Enforce the observance of values, business ethics, local laws, policies, and marketing procedures within the team and broader organization.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and integrity, in accordance with the Code of Conduct, supporting Policies and Standards, and Company Values.
Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • BSc degree in relevant field
  • Commercial roles in both sales and marketing with experience in people leadership position not less than 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience.
  • Strong performance mindset and track record to work through difficulties and deliver results.
  • In-depth understanding of the Vaccines therapeutic landscape, including market dynamics, customer journey and patient journey.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Brand Management experience including product launch.
Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • MBA
  • Leadership capabilities to influence a group through managing change.
  • Demonstrated record in achieving results through others and developing team capabilities.
  • Effective communication and presentations skills.
