Job Description

RESPONSIBILITY: a) Analyse sales order releases with respect to Material requirements. b) Coordinate with Procurement Executive and Sales personnel on sales order issue. c) Provide ETD and update status to Sales personnel. d) Liaise with Procurement Executive to ensure the order are purchased on time. e) To liaise with Production Head or above to ensure material is available for production. f) Control all the drawing and related documents. g) Create Manufacturing Order schedule based on incoming sales order. h) Understand and complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instruction. i) Overall responsible to develop, manage and maintain departmental procedures in coordination with other departments. j) Work closely with Subcontractor to meet standard LT delivery of products. k) Responsible to ensure parts are deliver on time. l) Review on time delivery in weekly basis with key Subcontractors and monitor their performance from time to time, tracking of OTD is a must. m) To prepare data analysis to support HOD in management report. n) Source for new Suppliers or Subcontractor and follow up on evaluation results such as quality, costs, delivery and financial status of new company. o) Request Quotation from Subcontractor by following sales personnel requisition. p) Evaluate Quotations and make decision on which Subcontractor to be chosen for the purchase order, the decision must be beneficial to the company. Propose the decision to HOD. q) Cost control \xe2\x80\x93 to source, negotiate and reduce cost on all aspects. r) Liaise with Subcontractor for corrective action request related to delivery and quality problems. s) Liaise with Subcontractor on arrangement and schedule transportation on delivery back and forth from the Subcontractors. t) To liaise with planning department in order to provide support to the production with regards to the supply and delivery of all required material and service at the right cost, quality and time. u) To undertake any other tasks or duties assigned by superior or management from time to time to suit to the company need and market demand.
