ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

PO Management

  • Aligns with project team and procurement plan.
  • Manage RFQ & RFP to suppliers, facilitate technical clarification and select qualified suppliers to meet purchase requisition requirements.
  • Engages with suppliers to drive savings and mitigate procurement risks on project related 3rd party materials and services procurement.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Operations, Global Engineering Center (GEC) to process PR and PO and release to suppliers with their confirmation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Project Team, Finance, Quality, Sourcing, C&N, etc.) to deal with PO related issues.
  • Facilitate project schedule alignment with suppliers and drive on time delivery of materials.
  • Maintain Accounts Payable PO price exception report and resolve invoicing discrepancies in accordance with company policy and system requirements.
  • Monitor and process PO cancellations and holds.
  • Facilitate GR process and supplier payment.
  • Archive PO documents and support internal / external audit requirements.
Process Management
  • Maintain a well-documented procurement procedure and review periodically.
  • Manage procurement process to ensure compliance to RA Policies and Procurement Procedures.
  • Drive procurement process efficiency and continuous improvement on cycle time while bringing value to the business in terms of cost, delivery, quality and service from suppliers.
Data Management
  • Build procurement data (products, suppliers, and spending) integrity and accuracy in SAP/IFS. for PO lines including the product number, commodity code, quantity, price, supplier information etc.
  • Maintain procurement metrics to reflect work performance.
Continuous Improvements
  • Continually improve understanding on project requirements and industrial knowledge to support the business procurement requirements.
  • Conduct process value analysis continuously to improve the process efficiency and provide more value to customers.
Thorough Familiarity with Company Policies and Procedures
  • Appropriately apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws.
  • Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation information network.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, Engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of procurement responsibilities, preferably in an Engineering to Orde (ETO) environment.
  • Strong competence the English language. Ability to read, write and speak English is a must.
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in productivity contribution and process optimization. Lean knowledge preferred.
  • Proven data analysis understanding and skills.
  • Regional procurement experience in Asia Pacific Region highly preferred.
  • Travel up to 20% (domestic).

  • Has solid knowledge and experience on procurement (e.g., supply chain, negotiation, contract, supplier management, operation etc.)
  • Perform cost analysis and volume planning as needed.
  • Manage current procurement procedure execution while also identifying process improvements as needed.
  • Identify root cause corrective actions for issues. Lead solutions to correct issues efficiently.
  • Investigate supplier performance and find effective improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze process efficiency by using technologies such as Power BI, etc.
  • Support sourcing team to execute commodity strategy and supplier management activities.
Leadership
  • Manage supplier performance in quality, on time delivery, inventory development and implement cost avoidance productivity.
  • Lead knowledge sharing and \xe2\x80\x9cbest practices\xe2\x80\x9d across different functions and countries
  • Drive successful execution of new initiatives and projects across different functions and countries by fulfilling individual responsibilities related to the effort while obtaining valuable contributions from others.

  • Engage properly with business delivery process to perform effective support
  • Respond to customer expedite requests promptly and accurately, then quickly relay information to customer service
  • Understand how RA business objectives relate to S&S, how performance objectives align with S&S objectives, and then take steps to maximize business unit financial results
