Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Cabinet Vision Designer to join our team. This role is focused on designing custom cabinetry and millwork using Cabinet Vision software. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and CNC manufacturing processes. You'll be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, production drawings, and cut lists that drive our manufacturing workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Design custom cabinets and millwork using Cabinet Vision software. Produce detailed shop drawings, renderings, cut lists, and CNC-ready files. Create and maintain a library of cabinet catalogs, construction methods, and material specifications. Collaborate with clients, sales reps, and project managers to interpret project requirements and design intent. Ensure all designs meet industry standards, construction feasibility, and customer expectations. Conduct field measurements and site visits when necessary to ensure accuracy. Troubleshoot and resolve design or software-related issues. Optimize material usage and machining processes to improve efficiency. Communicate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow from design to fabrication.

Requirements:

Proficient in Cabinet Vision (minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience). Solid understanding of cabinetry construction, joinery, and hardware. Experience preparing files for CNC manufacturing. Ability to read architectural drawings and translate them into buildable designs. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Good communication skills for collaboration with clients and team members. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, Industrial Design, or related field. Background in woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork production. Experience with other CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microvellum, or SolidWorks). Knowledge of industry trends, materials, and hardware systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,950.00 per month
