Company Description alimex ACP Asia Sdn Bhd, Johor Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Johor Bahru for a CAD CAM CNC Programmer. The CAD CAM CNC Programmer will be responsible for conducting CAD/CAM programming of machines, using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, and troubleshooting programs. The CAD CAM CNC Programmer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams in the manufacturing department to ensure product quality, optimize production processes, and maintain machine accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years experience in CAD/CAM programming and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with machining processes, including turning, milling, and drilling, and the related software tools such as Mastercam, Vericut and SolidWorks Experience with G-code programming and CNC machine operation Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, and proficient with manufacturing math and metrology Knowledge of various materials such as aluminum, steel, and plastics Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Experience with Quality management systems such as ISO 9001:2015 is a plus
