Job Description


  • A degree in Food & Beverage, hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. (In order to attend to English and Mandarin speaking guests\' needs and complaints promptly and politely.)
  • Proven at least 3 years of experience in managing a cafe or similar establishment, including staff supervision and operations management.
  • Strong ability to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle complaints or issues professionally.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and safety standards, ensuring compliance and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
  • Possess good initiative and leadership skills.
  • Mandarin speaking required for this position under the requirement section will be advantage
ResponsibilitiesOperational Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the caf\xc3\xa9, ensuring all activities run smoothly.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the caf\xc3\xa9 to high standards.
  • Liaise closely with the kitchen supervisor to ensure smooth operation flow and deliver guest feedback/opinion of the food.
Customer Service:
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Foster a welcoming and customer-focused environment.
Staff Management:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate caf\xc3\xa9 staff.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels of all supplies and products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.
  • Ensure all products are stored and rotated properly to maintain freshness.
Marketing and Promotion:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
Quality Control:
  • Ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Implement and oversee quality control procedures and standards.
