GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cargo spaces/cargo -ballast systems. Supervises all works affecting directly cargo spaces/cargo -ballast systems - supervises personnel executing the work. SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that the following requirements are met and that the following activities are executed safely and professionally, in accordance with approved work procedures or quality plans that: To be fully familiar with rules, regulations and work procedures applicable to the task to be executed Personnel qualifications are established and that each individual is given the opportunity of improvement through selective on the job training Personnel executing any hazardous work are trained, fully informed of the work procedures and/or quality plans and that they are complied with Familiar with the PTW System Cargo spaces/cargo/ballast systems including pump room are well maintained and in good working order Cargo operations, tank cleaning, gas freeing are carried out in accordance with safe work procedures, in order to avoid hazards and pollution Cargo/ballast operations are carried out in accordance with safe work procedures, and DWT, draft, trim, hull stress restrictions are observed Sufficient personnel are available for HLO prior to arrival/departure of helicopter for readiness of the helicopter landing deck All daily/export storage/fiscalization/off-loading reports - as agreed, are prepared and delivered to all concerned parties Acting as OIM as required when he is leaving the unit for acting as Mooring/ Loading Master onboard export tankers Interfacing operations with Process Plants are carried efficiently and safely Cooperate with MSUP in sharing personnel for repair and maintenance outside engine room CERTIFICATES AND TRAINING Master Mariner - STCW95 Reg.
