- Proven experience as a skilled carpenter or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment, both hand and power tools.
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Attention to detail and precision in executing carpentry tasks.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
- Construct and install frameworks, structures, fixtures, and furniture.
- Install doors, windows, molding, trim, and other finishing touches.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure proper installation and integration of components.
- Salary range RM2,500 to RM4,000
