Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales, profit, and market share growth.
Analyze consumer trends and buying behaviors to optimize product assortment.
Identify trend and source the right products to meet local customer demands.
Implement data-driven pricing and promotional strategies to enhance category performance.
Prepare and present strategic reports to senior management on category performance.
Establish and manage strong supplier relationships to negotiate optimal terms, pricing, and promotions.
Establish collaborative relationship with regional team and OEM suppliers
Conduct periodic range reviews to ensure a competitive and relevant product offering.
Inventory management to drive down slow moving stocks
Develop and implement placement and planogram strategies that improve category turnover and positively influence customer shopping behaviour
Owns the full product development cycle from trend analysis, product sourcing, product development, QA & QC, and product listing
Handling weekly / monthly promotions planning
Able to handle adhoc task / concourses event planning
Ensure compliance with the Company's policies including without limitation the stock ageing & write-off management process while performing and discharging your duties.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in category management, buying, or merchandising within retail or FMCG.
Must have interest in Skincare / Cosmetics category
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market trends and consumer insights.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management processes.
Results-driven with a strategic mindset and problem-solving approach.
