Your Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing activities under the Facilities Services Category. Example of scope of work under this category is including but not limited to janitorial, security guard, cafeteria, and disinfection services.
• However, this individual might need to support other categories such as Facilities Management and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) when necessary
• Located in Malaysia
• Region Supporting: Micron Singapore
• Language requirement: Able to speak, write and read English
• 2-4 years of procurement experiences
• Lead or support in negotiations of contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.
• Prepare AR (Award Recommendation) file for contract creation and approval. The AR will need to be approved by both IBM and Micron Leadership team
• Incorporate savings targets into sourcing activity
• Develop a sourcing strategy for suppliers in assigned categories
• Perform Supplier Performance Management (when necessary)
• Act as primary point of contact for assigned suppliers in category
• Maintain relationships with Supplier's Senior Executives (when necessary)
• Partner with Micron Global Procurement Team to drive Category Strategy
• Partner with other IBM team members in other regions for Category Strategy
• Collect and relay site specific priorities to suppliers
• Handles the Micron Catalogue renewal (when necessary)
• Coordinate with supplier on Supply Chain Impact due to COVID or supply chain disruption (when necessary)
