Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\'s objectives and market conditions, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability in the steel manufacturing sector.
Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements imposed by Malaysian financial authorities and stock exchange regulations, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial reporting
Identify, assess, and manage financial risks inherent in steel manufacturing operations, such as currency fluctuations, raw material price volatility, and market demand shifts, to safeguard company assets and optimize financial performance.
Serve as a key liaison with investors, analysts, and financial institutions, providing transparent and timely communication on financial performance, strategic initiatives, and market developments to enhance investor confidence and support capital market activities.
Lead the finance department by providing strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and talent development to support the company\'s growth objectives under the supervision of the Group Managing Director.
Analyze financial reports to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators, providing insights to senior management and the Board of Directors to support decision-making and strategic planning processes.
Develop the annual financial report such as management discussions and analysis, to provide context, interpretation, and strategic insights into the financial results, key drivers, and future prospects of the company, enhancing the understanding and credibility of financial information presented
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience within the manufacturing, heavy industries, property and construction.
Experience working with local public listed companies.
