Channel Development Manager (Modern Trade)
Job description
One of the leading FMCG players is seeking a Channel Marketing professional to join their team to lead the Modern Trade channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop channel strategies to achieve channel profitability.
- Formulate annual trade plans for brand activation.
- Align and support sales and marketing teams through development of trade activities.
- Conduct market research and analyse business data for insight-driven decision making.
- Identify market opportunities for channel growth and areas for channel improvement.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration or relevant.
- At least 5 years of experience in a channel marketing or similar role within FMCG.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin will be an added advantage).
- Prior experience in managing the Modern Trade channel.
- Has strong analytical skills, business acumen, and leadership skills.
