POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To implement O&M works towards a high quality performance and customer oriented of the respective operation unit. To plan and monitor the O&M activities, technical requirement, budgetary, resources and its goals to support departmental objective through a good business practices in line with Integrated Management System (IMS) for ISO 9001 Quality Management System, OHSAS 1800:2007 Occupational Safety & Health and EMS ISO 14004 Environmental Management System.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Deliver quality O&M services and project works in compliance with IMS requirements.
• Attain project time frame, housekeeping and Safety requirements and policies at work place.
• Ensures electrical system is operated within the established performance parameter.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients on any issues related to operation.
• Execute and manage on additional project and O&M activities.
• Plan and organize the execution of strategic O&M works and troubleshooting for all equipment
• Monitor and control work performance of shift O&M team.
• Ensures compliance of technical specification and authorities requirements, for any project implementation.
• Ensures servicing works or rectification works schedule is updated through Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• To assist Facilities Manager / Engineer / HT Chargeman on daily maintenance activities in facilities department especially on electrical work.
• To assist Facilities Manager / Engineer / HT Chargeman to monitor worker\'s discipline and enforce safety rules and regulation.
• To Assist Facilities Manager / Engineer / HT Chargeman in developing the maintenance checklist for the LV System according to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annual service and implementation.
• To perform repair and maintenance work, preventive maintenance task on all switch board, circuit breakers, transformer (minimum A4 grade) and High Tension Voltage (HT Room, minimum B0 grade)
• To ensure all Calibration on electrical switch boards/switch gears and all other electrical safety device are carryout accordingly.
• To schedule and carry out generator set testing and carry out the date analysis.
• Responsible for the safekeeping of all maintenance records and preparation of shift and incident reports.
• Daily recording meter reading (KW/H) of the generator in his system.
• To manage and carry out breakdown repair for the electrical equipment failure that warranted immediate attention from UTW.
• To monitor and report any defect or abnormalities found in the electrical installation under UTW contract
• To ensure high safety standard and housekeeping are implemented and maintained at workplace.
• To ensure all laws and regulations related to electrical system and installation are complied with the authority.
• Control expenses for all works undertaken for man power and other maintenance requirements.
• Conduct periodically inspection of all substations within UTW scope of works.
• Ensures respond time in accordance to service level agreement.
• Liaise with Competent Electrical Engineer pertaining electrical competency matters if necessary
• Supervise job performed by electrical contractors.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior or management representative.

• Plan the work force and all required resources in performing the maintenance schedule
• Ensures project implementation is complying with technical specifications and authorities requirements.

• Ensure deliverables of O&M and project implementation meets client\'s requirements

• Knowledgeable in facilities maintenance in operation and maintenance
• Knowledgeable in M&E building services

• Computer literate is added advantage
• Knowledgeable in maintenance in operational of airports facilities.
• Knowledgeable on competency requirement in Low Voltage Electrical System.
• Knowledgeable in the latest technology.

Education

• Competent Low Voltage Certificate (A4 category)
