Job Description

Minimum competent Chargeman Certificate Level BO issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga. 1. Monitor day-to-day facility engineering operations activities but not limited on electrical installations activities. Ensure all work orders are promptly distribute on time closure. 2. Design, modify, upgrade and perform electrical installation and electrical system for new or existing machines, building and equipment. 3. Responsible for HT and other LV electrical equipment such as electrical panel and mechanical and electrical (M&E) switch rooms. 4. Responsible overall factory maintenance of Main Distribution Box, sub-DB for machines, equipment lighting and power. 5. Perform troubleshooting and repairing works for electrical system breakdown promptly including electrical related problems of machineries. 6. Executing repair and preventive maintenance on all electrical and instrumentation systems to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failure. 7. Carry out daily check, inspection and monitoring for HT and LV switchboards, transformers, switchgears and TNB supply. 8. Liaise with TNB, Energy Commission and other relevant authorities on legal requirements. 9. Prepare Energy Consumption Report and record power factor reading at main LV switch room. Monitor and analyse monthly electricity consumptions. 10. Assist management on projects and operations activities. 11. Liaise with electrical components supplier and raise Purchase Requisition (PR) for electrical items. 12. Liaise, supervise and monitor external contractor\xe2\x80\x99s works or services performance. 13. Ensure good housekeeping, cleanliness and safety at workplace. 14. Perform other duty requested by superior / department head from time to time if needed.
