Job Description


  • At least 8 years of experience in Senior Financial Managerial position/ CFO.
  • Having public listed exposure in Bursa Malaysia will be more advantage.
  • Professional accounting qualification (Chartered Public Accountant ( PA), Associate Chartered Certified Accounting (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA), or Malaysia Institute of Accountant (MIA)).
  • Must be a member of Malaysia Institute of Accountant (MIA).
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Responsibilities
  • Review group financial statements, group consolidation & quarterly announcement to ensure they are prepared accurately and in compliance with statutory listing requirements, Bursa, FRS/MFRS & any other statutory bodies.
  • Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
  • In charge of company financial plans and cashflows budget planning.
  • Manage and oversee financial operations including full spectrum of Financial Accounting and Management reporting functions, taxation and treasury.
  • Providing strategic recommendations, insight and analysis to support CEO and other senior managers.
  • Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Leading key initiatives in finance that support overall strategic goals.
  • Funding, enabling, and executing strategy set by CEO.
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning
  • Representing the organization\'s progress on strategic goals to external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring business decision are grounded in sound financial criteria.
  • Manage, review & advise for the company\'s shareholding structure.
  • Assisting companies through the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process in Malaysia.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties, such as investment banks, legal advisors, and auditors, to ensure a smooth IPO process.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and financial analysis to support the IPO process.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, such as investment appraisals, business expansion initiatives, and capital budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial feasibility, risks, and returns of potential projects or investments.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business planning and performance improvement.
