An exciting Management Accountant job has become available at one of the MNCs.

About the Management Accountant Role:
In this role, you will be overseeing Malaysia and Indonesia portfolio, and focus on internal and external reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the appropriate authorisations from the delegated department head have been received
• Review and process suppliers\' invoices and staff expense claims
• Prepare payments for appropriate authorisations either by cheque or telegraphic transfer
• Handle petty cash
• Perform variance analysis on expenses
• Prepare month-end closing (full sets) for both Robert Walters and Resource Solutions business units
• Coordinate and complete periodic reporting in line with the Group reporting framework
• Monthly reconciliations to external accounting service provider for local statutory purposes
• Manage documentation (both hard and soft copy)
• Prepare and distribute internal reports
• Review statutory returns
• Ensure compliance of annual company taxation requirements, company secretarial, audit and legal
• Assist in budget preparation
• Contribute and drive process improvement
• Manage ad hoc reporting as required

To succeed in the Management Accountant job, you will need to has strong analytical skills and business acumen.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of three to five years in a finance function
• Chartered Accountant
• Experience in audit/budget control function will be highly recognised
• Qualified accountants will have an advantage
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Good proficiency in English
• Meticulous and able to handle challenges with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
