Airswift is seeking applicants as a Management Accountant to join the global Intercompany team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Role Description The Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring effective, efficient, and professional operations of the Finance function of the ASPAC businesses. The successful applicant will be required to undertake all or some aspects of financial management, including management accounting, and project execution, as well as ensuring that internal controls and policies are adhered to. This position will be the ASPAC expert for intercompany accounting. This person will work closely with corporate and regional teams to ensure intercompany accounting policy and practices are adhered to. This person will actively drive identifying and clearing of intercompany mismatches. A core responsible of their role will be to participate in the initiative to standardize and automate intercompany processes. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, develop relationships and positively influence others. Key Accountabilities Management Reports and Month-End Closing Month-end reporting of progress on intercompany misbalances. Assist regions with intercompany analysis, preparation of journals and invoices as needed. Assist with intercompany reconciliations and review. Project Assist with the creation of global policies and procedures ensuring best practices are followed. Develop and deliver training globally to ensure successful adherence to intercompany policies and procedures and technology enhancements. Participate in user acceptance testing of technology configurations to streamline and improve the accuracy of intercompany activity. Develop KPIs to measure progress of intercompany misbalances. Person Specification Qualified CA/CPA/ACCA with no less than 5 years relevant experience Strong Excel skills (VLookup, pivot tables and modelling) High and demonstrated attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks, often with non-negotiable deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines. Ability to be flexible.
