Caterpro Sdn Bhd

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, test, and refine recipes for food pastes to achieve desired taste, texture, and shelf life. Supervise and participate in daily food paste production according to standard recipes and quality standards. Measure, mix, and cook ingredients using commercial kitchen equipment. Maintain consistency in product flavor, color, and aroma across batches. Ensure strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP /HALAL). Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and packaging teams to improve products and processes. Monitor ingredient inventory and coordinate with the procurement team for raw material requirements. Train and guide kitchen assistants or production staff in proper cooking and handling techniques. Maintain detailed production logs and recipe documentation.

Qualifications:



Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or related field. 2-3 years of experience as a chef or food production specialist (preferably in sauces, pastes, or condiments). Strong knowledge of ingredients, spices, and flavor balancing. Understanding of industrial cooking equipment and batch production processes. Excellent attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
