Chef Lecturers will be responsible for undertaking programme leadership for culinary arts or hospitality programme(s) offered by the University College and promote academic excellence through the delivery of learning in a range of culinary arts or hospitality courses, developing course materials, pastoral care of students and contributing to the research activity of the school.
Duties and Responsibilities
Chef Lecturers are expected to assume a higher level of responsibility in teaching, balanced with the time incurred in formal work with students including lectures, tutorials, laboratory, or other supervised practicum and counselling.
Chef Lecturers are expected to seek time for higher postgraduate education or training and experience by working closely with more experienced colleagues who share the same or a closely related area of expertise.
Minimum Academic/Professional Qualification
Preferably Master in Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management or relevant experience in the catering industry
Related Experience
Preferably 7 (seven) years of working experience in the similar capacity
Industrial experience in Managerial/Supervisory positions for seven (7) years or more
Ability to teach various subjects from a wider field of culinary arts and / or culinary arts management
