Job Summary

This position supports the sales and marketing team on overall Pastry, Bakery & Hot Culinary recipes / product development, product tasting sensory evaluation, application, demonstration and product knowledge training.

He / She require to provide better technical support to the customers in term of new product innovation through product demonstration and troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities : * Organize and perform product demonstration, baking / cooking class and product training regular basis to :

• Customers in food services channel. i.e. Bakery Ingredient Shop & Confectionery & HORECA
• Key customers on special campaign.
• Internal & client\'s Sales & Marketing team
• Develop new product and recipes using Own and client brand to support sales & marketing activities, such as product sampling, special event, BTL advertisement, and etc.
• Provide support to Sales & marketing team on product application, taste test and sensory evaluation.
• Support evaluation of ingredients and products to ensure compliance with specification and standards.
• Stay current on cooking techniques, equipments and new technology application for baking and culinary.
• Conduct routine taste test of DKSH Products versus competitors.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and filed visit to customers in trouble shooting thru product demonstration and application.
• Responding to the findings of sensory and taste panels and interpretation of the sensory evaluation results.

Job Requirements :

• Good pastry / baking skills, with demonstrated love of food and strong flavor development skills.
• Ability to travel outstation
• Good communication skills and diplomacy that will promote good relations with all facets of management and other disciplines in the effective execution of projects
• At least 2 to 3 years working experiences in baking / culinary industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Baking and Culinary Art / Science would be added advantage
• Able to work independently with computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel & Power Point.
