We are looking for a dedicated Cook to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. Candidate must be able to meet all scheduling commitments and possess strong attention to detail. Experience in preparing traditional cuisine (Chinese, Malay and Indian style) with minimum supervision
The cook's responsibilities include following instructions relating to the timely preparation of food, organizing workstations, and assisting other cooks as needed.
Candidate must also be open minded to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare customized meals that meet our customers' expectations.
Ability to use independent judgment in routine situations, such as conducting work tasks safely and in compliance with the facility safety program, determining what items are needed for menu and meal preparation.

Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes.
Storing excess food at the correct temperature to avoid spoilage.
Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas.
Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that a meal is properly prepared and packed within a specified timeframe.
Efficiently resolving problems with customers' orders.
Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed.
Ensuring all products are rotating on a first-in, first-out philosophy.
Assisting in lowering all food costs and waste.
Following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and department.
Properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
Maintaining a solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base stocks and soups.
Regularly restocks all kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
Ensure food preparations are aligned and reflect the Company's positioning in the market.
Qualification:
Diploma in Culinary or equivalent.
KKM food handling certification.
2 Years minimum experience working as a Cook in hot kitchen environment
Basic comprehension of English oral and written language
Physically fit (subject to medical examination)
