Job Summary

Responsible for the formulation, planning and implementation of strategic directions of the Project Business Unit, to achieve overall success and profitability of the company, as well as ensure the success and sustainable growth of the company and enhancement of the company's shareholders value.

Job Responsibilities:

To deliver the set performance and revenue targets and expectations of the Board of Directors through the following:

• Work with the Group CEO and Group Managing Director to determine the company's vision, and plan for short and long-term goals.
• Develop and implement high-level strategies, making major corporate decisions targeted at revenue generation and business growth

Build and maintain strong alliances and partnerships with other organizations.

Represents company at important business functions, community events, industry training and events, and networking opportunities. * Screen potential business opportunities by analyzing strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials, evaluating options, risks analysis, resolving internal priorities and propose recommendations.

• Analyze the business units operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement and digitalization.
• Oversees financial performance and risk profile while ensuring that all of regulatory obligations are met; effectively managing contract negotiations and statutory compliance.
• Demonstrate strong leadership in creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the company's mission, vision, and values.
• Ensures the Business Unit is staffed with well-trained, quality, and engaged employees at all times; work closely with the Group HR team to develop effective hiring, training, and compensation plans to retain quality talent; and leads and mentoring staff, engaging and empowering them to be successful in serving customers.
• Monitors company performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
• Continuous development and implementation of new product solutions and services; and oversees the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
• Ensures the timely reviews on month-end financial and operational performance, contributes to the development of and participation in corporate-wide strategic planning efforts.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor or Masters degree in a relevant discipline

At least 10 years of relevant working experience being in senior management sales and commercial role within the relevant industries * Sound knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.

• Results oriented, strong business acumen, follow up and negotiation skills, high level of integrity and calm under pressure
• Possess out-of-the-box thinking, good problem-solving skill and able to provide good advice and solutions to the business.

Sound knowledge of project management

Strategic thinking, analytical, adaptable and innovative

Good management, organizational and leadership skills

Excellent communication skills; fluent in spoken and written English

Able to drive the values of working in a team, actively supports and develops team members, managing people and engaging them in bringing results to the business

Remuneration:

Up to RM30,000
