This CFO role is for a listed company in the Agriculture/Plantation and Light Manufacturing industry with operations throughout Malaysia. Aside from their focus on both of these industries, they are also in other businesses in other industries. This role would be based at their HQ in Kuala Lumpur together with the finance team.Responsibilties
This CFO role will take charge of Group finance and oversee the Finance & Accounting function at Group level. You will report to the Group Managing Director, be a part of the senior leadership team and head the finance function. Aside from formulating financial and business strategies, managing Group Reporting & Consolidation and Statutory Reporting, you will also lead engagement with the Board of Directors and senior management to ensure alignment of strategic goals and initiatives across the Group. You will ensure adequate controls are in place, compliance to statutory requirements and group SOPs. Tis role will also monitor cashflow, risk management and roll out initiatives related to process improvement.Skills and Experience Required
This role will require you to have at least 15 years experience in a progressive role within Finance & Accounting and membership with MIA. You will also need professional membership qualification and recent working experience in a PLC. Candidates with prior experience in Audit with Big 4 and fund raising knowledge would have added advantage.
