Job Description

The Chief Operation Officer (COO) will provide Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Company. Reporting to the Managing Director, the COO will be responsible to instil and bring operational, managerial and administrative procedures, reporting structures and operation controls to the Company. The COO will effectively communicate and foster growth among the Management Team and all employees. This is a vital leadership role that will drive results, spur growth and increase the overall efficiency of the Company. Key Responsibilities 1. Assist Management team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization through industry market analysis and Research & Development, to ensure TMA is on top of competitors and keep up on the current emerging technologies in printing industry \xe2\x80\x93 Digital Inkjet Printing, Offset Lithography, Flexography, 3D Printing, Software innovation, hybrid printing technology and etc. 2. Lead, advise and monitor on the operation team day-to-day operation including embarking on the review and enhancement of TMA internal operation process review with detailed process re-engineering to improve the production efficiency and effectiveness, reduce cost, improve reliability and sustainability of production processes and facilities \xe2\x80\x93 Machineries and Software, Procurement of Paper, Quality Verification, Cutting & Packing, Storage, Loading, Handling and Delivery. 3. Provide training, mentoring, guidance and coaching to the Management and Operational Team on paper and printing industry technical knowledge, expertise and technical skills as well as sharing of experience and provide transfer of knowledge to the team especially on the storage facilities (floor pallet/ rack, moisture, climate & humidity control, etc.), product loading and handling. 4. Provide management to the staff and leadership to the Company that aligns with the TMA\xe2\x80\x99s Strategic and Business Plan as well as the overall strategic vision by focusing on enhancing, improving TMA end-to-end operations through a holistic approach via technology, digitalization, process re-engineering and digital marketing. 5. Partner with Marketing Director to enhance and explore on the advertising and marketing strategies through digital marketing to build TMA brand awareness and reputation. 6. Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the Managing Director and other Management Team members. 7. Partner with the Finance Director to achieve favourable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, systems, reporting and controls. 8. Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability. 9. Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes. 10. Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of TMA. 11. Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes. 12. Works with other Management Team on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs. 13. Work closely with Management Team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, projects, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within TMA. 14. Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the Company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members. 15. Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, and all other professional business relationships. 16. Foster a growth oriented, positive, and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
