Job Description
Responsibilities: Lead and guide the bank within Risk Management Dept to ensure the effective operation of the risk management framework across the bank. Responsible for providing independent oversight on matters of credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk and operational risk matters of the bank. To ensure compliance of the bank with both regulatory & group requirements pertaining to Risk Management. Lead and oversee in Risk Management initiatives such as ICAAP, BNM Risk reporting, Stress Testing, etc. To perform an oversight of permanent controls for risks including to define and implementation of permanent control framework in close coordination with relevant regional Risk teams. To be responsible for periodic risk analysis to Board Risk Management Committee Chairman, CEO and regional risk team under CRO APAC. Proactively monitor and keep abreast of new developments on BNM guidelines/procedures/policies Oversee relevant risk related duties as assigned by Board Risk Management Committee and senior management Requirements: Degree in relevant fields and solid experience in risk and control related functions. Experience at the highest level in the banking industry, including demonstrated success in a similar role. Strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
