Job Description

Responsibilities:

Review and verify civil & structural design drawings, calculations, and specifications. Monitor and supervise C&S works for water intake, reservoirs, pump stations, pipe supports, and related infrastructure. Resolve technical and design-related issues encountered on site. Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities for design approvals and inspections. Prepare engineering reports, progress updates, and technical submissions. Support the project team in variation assessments, claims, and technical justifications. Conduct inspections, witness testing, and ensure QA/QC records are properly maintained. Support preparation of method statements, work procedures, and shop drawings. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, JKR standards, CIDB requirements, and local authority guidelines. Provide technical input for construction methods, material selection, and design alternatives.

Requirement:

Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent. 3-5 years' experience in civil & structural works. Strong knowledge of structural analysis, geotechnical considerations, and construction materials. Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or other structural design software. Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Kota Tinggi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

Civil engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
