Job Description

Requirement:

a. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
b. 4-10 years experience in C&S Consultancy firm.
c. Infra Engineer shall be familiar with authority requirements and able to perform infra design with minimum guidance.
d. Structure Engineer shall be familiar with both RC and steel structure design. Preferably able to use Orion, Staadpro, Revit, Safe and/or Etabs.
e. Candidate who can perform both Civil and Structural design Independently and familiar with Bomba requirement & UBBL will be an added advantage.

:

a) To report duty to Director/Associate Director/Senior Engineer
b) Perform Civil and structural design. Prepare report, design and drawings.
c) Check all design drawings before issued for coordination, tender or construction.
d) To carry out structural assessment and prepare assessment report.
e) Keep proper record/filing for the projects involved and/or projects assigned by director/associate director.
f) Attend site meetings, progress meetings, design and technical meetings, meet up with statutory bodies as required and representing the company in all relevant meetings.
g) Liaise with client, consultants and to ensure our design meets client and architectural requirements.
h) Liaise with contractor to ensure the smoothness of the construction works on site.
i) Reply RFI, letters, check shop drawings and other submissions by contractors.
j) Arrange and coordinate for drafting works.
k) Liaise with Local authority departments to obtain approval, for eg Majlis, IWK, Syabas, JPS and etc.
l) Occasionally carry out site inspection.
m) Other jobs related duties as instructed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
