Clinical Optometrist
Job Description
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Optometrist at OasisEye Specialists located in Shah Alam. The Clinical Optometrist will perform eye exams, diagnose and treat visual defects, identify and manage eye diseases, prescribe medications, and fit contact lenses. They will also provide high-quality patient care, answer patient\'s questions about eye health, and maintain accurate patient records. The Clinical Optometrist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as Ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care services to our patients. Qualifications Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of procedures and techniques in optometry Demonstrated proficiency in prescribing glasses and contact lenses for patients of all ages and with various visual conditions Experience in diagnosing and treating eye diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complicated medical terms to patients in simple words Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping Ability to work in a team environment and effectively coordinate care with other healthcare professionals Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management systems A commitment to continuing education and professional development
