Title : Cloud Engineer
Report to : Technical Director

Job Responsibilities:

• Be a part of a team responsible for the architecture design, installation, configuration, technical support, and maintenance of systems hosted in major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP and Alibaba Cloud.
• Work with limited supervision to establish, monitor and maintain cloud environment, systems hardware, operating systems, and related network and security infrastructure to ensure reliable operations.
• Design and set up tools to monitor cloud systems for optimal performance
• Establish and monitor best practices, policies, and procedures to implement systems in the cloud.
• Optimize network infrastructure for IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and other cloud applications.
• Recommend and plan for future growth of systems, taking into consideration capacity planning, monitoring, disaster recovery, and business continuity for operating infrastructure.
• Refresh, update and improve the existing cloud products and services.
• Conduct new product evaluation and assessment for the cloud.
• Keep up to date on the development of technologies within the cloud computing segment.
• Design and develop security architectures for Cloud and Hybrid-cloud based systems.
• Design and implement Cloud-native architectures that will allow business requirements to be met with a minimal degree of risk to the organization
• Identify, recommend, coordinate, and deliver timely knowledge to support teams regarding technologies, processes, or tools.
• Operations support to maintain access to the cloud environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies such as secure software development, application security, data protection, cryptography, key management, and identity access management.
• Knowledge of standard cloud-native authentication mechanisms.
• Familiarity with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management.
• Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers, and server virtualization technologies.
• Experience with enterprise applications (architecture, development, support, and troubleshooting).
• Ability to perform threat modeling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introduction of new technologies.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent experience
• Five years or more of IT Service Management, data center, server, and storage management, virtualization, networking, systems management, and/or project management are recommended
• A minimum of 2 relevant years of experience in AWS administration
• Professional with experience leading large complex enterprise-wide infrastructure projects/programs with multiple interfaces and/or 3rd parties
• Experience supporting DevOps automation teams
• 3rd party Cloud and CDN Provider Experience
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer
• Standard infrastructure experience: Monitoring, DNS Configuration, DHCP, Backups, and Disaster Recovery
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact/influence internal and external leadership
• Good mentorship and aspire to be a team lead
