We are hiring for projects in the Middle East. There are many opportunities in the region. Our team consists of frontend and backend developers, data analysts and data scientists, architects, analysts and project managers.

Responsibilities

• design and overall architecture and connectivity, latency, and failover framework for cross-cloud platform environments (Oracle, Azure).
• collaborate with data engineers and architects to design the ETL processes and workflows using the cloud-based tools.
• Hosting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, hosting optimization.
• Running database in Oracle and applications in the Azure Cloud.
• Managing cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and resilience for your applications and services.
• Collaborating with development teams, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide support, and ensure smooth operation of the database environment.
• Provisioning and configuring database instances in the cloud environment, managing network settings, storage allocation, and virtual machine resources.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Oracle and Azure technologies, migration tools, and best practices.

Skills

Must have

- in-depth knowledge and experience working with Oracle databases, including database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting for over five years.
- hands-on experience managing databases in a cloud environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- solid understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including infrastructure services such as virtual machines, storage, networking and identity management (3y+).
- familiarity with Azure-specific database services, security controls, backup and recovery mechanisms, and high availability configurations provided by the cloud platform.
- hands-on experience with ETL cloud-based tools (Oracle Data Integrator Cloud Service / Azure Data Factory / Azure Synapse Analytics.
- experience with Terraform.
- familiarity with Oracle migration tools and Azure migration services.
- strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
- experience with scripting languages like Shell scripting, Python, or Power Shell.
- strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with development teams, system administrators, and stakeholders.
- Oracle or/and Azure certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Associate/professional, Oracle Database Cloud Administrator Certified Professional, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Database Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar.

Nice to have

Knowledge of the financial markets, portfolio theory, risk management
Experience working in Agile environment (Scrum, Agile).
