Cloud Sales

Job Description

We are looking for an aggressive and over-achieving individual in a sales role with experience and passion in selling and expanding our Cloud Computing set of products and services. This person will be given a primary focus to expand our Cloud Computing business by working with other divisions and the technical teams to drive every aspect related to sales and marketing of the business.

Sales & Business Development



Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for cloud platforms and services. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business and technology needs. Collaborate with marketing and partner teams to drive demand generation campaigns.

Customer Engagement



Conduct client meetings, presentations and solution pitches to articulate the value of cloud platforms. Work with pre-sales solution architects to develop RFPs, value proposals, demos, and proof-of-concepts. Advise customers on cloud adoption strategies, migration paths, and potential ROI. Act as the trusted advisor to customers on cloud platforms and digital transformation.

Collaboration & Reporting



Partner with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project handover after deal closure. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts in CRM systems. Report on sales performance and market trends to leadership. Stay up to date with competitor offerings, industry trends, and emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications



Possess a minimum Diploma or Post-graduate Degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in cloud services, S.I. or IT solutions. Strong understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders. Familiarity with solution selling, consultative sales, or value-based sales approaches. Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
