Manage CAD/MASTER CAM Programming in developing, editing, revising, and documenting manufacturing methods and CNC (CAM) programs from various engineering media for high precision 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC Milling Machines.
Design and develop CNC programming for CNC Milling Machines.
To work on the FAI (First Article Introduction) Project and Prototype.
Prepare and maintain all MASTER CAM files for the machining process.
Optimize machining time by shortening cycle time for manufacturing products to reduce machining cost.
Responsible for providing guidance, training and support to the CAD/MASTER CAM Programmers relating to parts dimension, tolerance, and program designs.
Verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications to ensure the accuracy and quality of all CAD/CAM models, technical drawings, CAD/ MASTER CAM programs and machining instructions.
Provide guidance, training, and support to the CAD/ MASTER CAM team by sharing knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise to build a skilled and capable team.
Have basic experience in handling ISO 9001/14001 & IATF 16949 documentations.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years of related experience in CAM programming using MASTER CAM / CATIA / NX-11 and CNC milling software, with hands-on, practical exposure in a shop-floor environment.
Advanced knowledge in CAM programming, CAM support, and machining.
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and good problem-solving skills.
Able to set up 3-axis, 4-axis, and vertical 5-axis CNC milling machines for high-speed machining.
Perform any other duties assigned by the superior as required.
