Konoki Coffee is seeking an experienced and results-driven
Coffee Sales Manager
to lead our international sales efforts from our base in Paksong, Laos. This is a high-impact, senior role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategy, managing the entire customer lifecycle, and maximizing the profitability of our green coffee exports. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the global green coffee market, a proven track record of hitting aggressive sales targets, and the ability to operate strategically in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
Develop and execute a comprehensive international sales strategy to expand market share and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Research a full list of potential buyers
for our green beans across Asia (particularly Thailand and Vietnam) and globally.
Identify new market segments, sales channels, and product offerings to increase profitability.
Act as the primary senior relationship holder with key accounts, negotiating contracts and major agreements to ensure favorable terms and successful transactions.
Participate in trade fairs and industry events to effectively represent the company, acquire new customers, and build relations.
2. Market Intelligence & Pricing
Analyze the coffee market, including supply and demand factors, climate conditions, and economic trends, to inform sales and pricing decisions.
Work closely with the sourcing team/Sales Officer to ensure daily price offers are competitive and margin-appropriate.
Prepare and manage
sales forecasts and budgets
(P&L responsibility) to monitor performance and guide resource allocation.
3. Sales Execution Oversight
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation and negotiation to final contract agreement.
Ensure smooth coordination between the sales team (or Sales Officer) and the logistics team to ensure seamless and timely delivery to customers.
Collaborate with production to align sales commitments with current processing capacity and quality standards.
4. Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline status, and customer data.
Prepare reports to assess the profitability, effectiveness, and future outlook of sales strategies
Ensure all sales contracts and agreements comply with relevant trade regulations and industry standards
5. Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of
5 years of experience in green coffee sales,
business development, or commodity trading.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Language:
Fluent English is mandatory
to communicate with international buyers and our expatriate management team. Proficiency in Vietnamese and Thai is preferable.
6. Skills
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
for fostering relationships with high-level buyers.
Strong analytical skills
for interpreting market data and identifying sales trends.
Proven ability to thrive under pressure
and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Any existing contacts and connections with potential coffee bean buyers, particularly in Thailand and Vietnam, would be highly desirable.
